QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-

Hello Chic Teak, I would like to ask a few questions about the cabinet: How long are the recessed (cut-out) handles? Which parts of the cabinet use wooden plugs (dowel caps) to cover the screw heads? Is the cabinet fully constructed with mortise and tenon joints? What type of drawer slides do you use? Thank you very much, and I look forward to your reply soon.
Thanks for your interest in our cabinet.
These cabinets use a combination of mortise and tenon, dovetail joints, and dowels covering screws. There are no visible screw heads. The top is affixed with dovetail type joints you can see in the closeup screenshot from our website images. The drawer and door pulls are cutouts that are about 3 to 4 inches wide. Closeup can be viewed on the website as well.
The drawer slides on these units are rustic wood slides—they are not hardware based slides.
Please note that these are all handmade in different batches, so there can be minor differences. We would send high resolution photos of the unit you’d receive before shipping it to you.
We hope this helps, and please let us know if you need anything else.
