The teak wood use for the frame and legs of this chest are made from 100% recycled A-grade teak wood that is repurposed by the village artisans on the Island of Java.
The organic handwoven cane comes from outer part of the rattan tree, which grows like a vine. Cane has a very natural look to it that is more pleasing to the eye than much of the "disposable" looking furniture styles out there.
Infused with a distinct retro influence, this chest is multipurpose as a TV stand, hallway table, serving table and more. The honey tone teak frame contrasts beautifully with the natural lines and lighter tones of the woven cane.
