Beautiful chair

It was great. Hired a handyman to put it together because the wood is so heavy to deal with and I am a petite woman. It looks wonderful in our pool room! Such a beautiful design.

INSTRUCTIONS

FUNNY. THE GLUE WAS HARD AS A ROCK. I PUT IT IN HOT WATER, NO LUCK. I THEN TRYED BOILING WATER. STILL HARD AS A ROCK. I BOUGHT GORILLA GLUE AND USED THAT. NOW, THE INSTRUCTUCTIONS SHOWS A AND B PARTS. NOTHING WAS MARKED AS SUCH. I CALLED TWO DIFFERENT NEIGHBORS TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. SAME CONCLUSION. WE FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO PUT IT TOGETHER. WHRONG. IT IS NOW GLUED, PUT TOGETHER WRONG BUT LOOKS OKAY. IF IT WPULD NOT COST A FORTUNE TO SEND IT BACK I WPULD HAVE. THE BOX IS GONE, EVERYTHING GLUIED TOGETHER AND IT DOES NOT LOOK TO BAD SO I WILL KEEP IT. A CARPENTER FRIEND SAY HE CAN FIX ALL THE CRACKS THAT SHOW. I GAVE HIME THE INSTRUCTIONS AND NOW A FORTH PERSON SAY JUST PUT A AND B TOGETHER. I SAID FIND AN A AND A B PART. NOW A FOURTH PERSON SAID WHAT DID I DO WITH THEM. THERE ARE SOME THINGS COLLAGE EDUCATED PEOPLE CANNOT FIGURE OUT. ONE BA DEGREE TWO MASTERS AND ONE DOCTOR DEGREES. I GUESS THAT IS WHY WE HIRE PEOPLE TO HELP US. OVERALL IT REALLY DOES NOT LOOK TO BAD. IT WILL BE IN THE YARD. SO NO ONE WILL NOTICE, RIGHT. EXCEPT A TWELVE YEAR OLD NEIGHBOR GIRLE WHO LOOK AND SAID THE PARTS ARE IN THE WRONG PLACE. NEXT TIME I AM GOING TO HIRE HER FOR ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS. THANK FOR ASKING, JOHN

Parterre is beautifully finished thank to Chic Teak!

The Lutyens benches, coffee tables and chairs are the perfect elegant finish to our parterre. The teak quality is excellent. After assembling four benches, two coffee tables and eight chairs, we are quite efficient in the family assembly line of re-construction. All parts were quality wood, easily joined and no missing screws! We will have years of enjoyment. Thanks for the customer service follow-ups and easy delivery.

  • What semco finish did you put on your Lutyens arm chair

    When we ship a new Lutyens Arm Chair, there is no SEMCO applied to it.  They have a hand-rubbed wax finish that will wear off after being weathered for a few weeks.  SEMCO can be applied after the wax has worn off.  We only sell and recommend SEMCO Honeytone colored teak sealer as it's the one made to match the teak wood.
