Cut table down 2.5_ for better ergonomics for dining. Cushions could be thicker as at 180 lbs they bottom out. Curb side delivery was a problem for me. Otherwise this is remarkably sturdy, stylish and at the perfect height to sit on my deck overlooking the ocean and not have to peer through the railings. Teak is by far the best option for the marine environment and windy conditions. Well worth the price premium over high density plastic or powder coated aluminum which are the other options that will last outdoors at a beach house

I did a lot of research looking for a dining set for our beach house. Given the salt air environment, powder coated aluminum, plastic/composite lumber and teak were the options which were appropriate for the environment. I decided that teak was the best option even with the price premium. The set is high quality and well made. Heavy due to the amount of wood in the pieces making it withstand the winds and not be blown around. I purchased a bar height set so when sitting the line of sight would be over the railings providing an unobstructed view of the ocean. My only complaint is that the table height is about 2_ too tall and doesn't provide an ergonomic position for dining. I'll probably cut the legs a bit to improve the ergonomic factors. Shipping of the 330 pound set was free via R&L carriers. They provide curbside drop off using semi trucks. The driver who was tasked with delivery was not skilled enough to navigate my neighborhood. This is not an easy task but I have seen other semi drivers accomplish this but it requires having the ability to backup a quarter mile with a few small curves. The driver attempted to get to my house but was unable to find a way. He decided not to deliver and left without calling me to discuss. I finally got him on the phone after many attempts and got him turned around where we met a a parking lot 8 miles away where I had to make 2 trips to shuttle home. I recommend other delivery options as I would pay extra for home delivery.

This is our first time we purchased furniture online. The set is placed on our pool and looks stunning. The teak is slatted so water runs through quickly. Didn't know teak dries so fast. This company has clear shipping instructions. I inspected all items before signing the paperwork. Now that we know the quality we feel comfortable ordering additional items.

After seeing teak in so many outdoor resorts I decided we needed a set ourselves. High quality and I had a handyman help me unpack and put the table together. My husband loves the set since the seats are big and comfortable. I had cushions custom made since these were out of stock when I ordered the set.
