This bench is made from solid teak wood and very sturdy. It can hold 700 lbs
It can be used outdoors year round. -
Can 8this be stained darker color or painted?
The bench comes with a hand rubbed wax finish applied to it. This wax will wear off naturally when left outside exposed to the elements. It can take up to 3 to 6 weeks depending on the environment. You can speed up with process by washing it with hot soapy water.
Once the wax is gone, you can stain or paint it. -
