  • How much does this chair weigh?

    The weight of this chair is 15 pounds

  • Can the teak wood California be darkened in the wood grain by using danish oil dark walnut to make them less orange-y?

    Thanks for reaching out.  If the chairs will be used outside in the weather, we don't recommend applying oil as it wears off quickly, attracts dirt, and can promote mildew growth.  Outside the teak will lighten and eventually turn a silvery grey patina.  If you'd rather preserve a brown color outside, we recommend applying a teak sealer, such as SEMCO brand teak sealer.  They have it in honeytone, that matches new teak, and they also have a darker sealer.  More information on those colors can be found here:  https://semcoteakproducts.com/our-products/

    If the chairs will be used indoors, or completely covered outside, we recommend a furniture wax like Howard Feed-N-Wax.  If you prefer, you could also apply the oil you referenced.  Please let us know if you have further questions.
