How do you care for teak furniture? If food or drinks spill on them, how do you clean? Do your cushions come in different colors? Is the color online white?
Teak oil or furniture wax can be used if the furniture will be kept indoors or in a covered area. If used outside exposed to the elements, we do not recommend wax or oil because it will wear off too quickly, promote mildew growth and attract dirt.
Teak wood will begin to turn a silvery grey over time when left in the weather. Many people prefer this look. All that's needed to maintain it is washing it with warm soapy water as needed. If you prefer the brown look of the wood, you can choose to apply a teak sealer such as SEMCO brand Honeytone Teak sealer but it's not necessary.
