This Teak Swing design is based on a famous design of Sir Edwin Lutyens, one of the most influential and important of all 20th century British architects, which were originally conceived for the garden at Little Thakeham near Storrington, West Sussex, can be found in parks all over the world. This swing reflects the classical, symmetrical style for which Lutyens was known, beautifully enhanced by the natural beauty of the teak wood.

Style and function are at the heart of our teak Lutyens inspired collection and now the look can be complete with this double swing. Your sense style doesn't end when you walk out the door, so we think you deserve your patio furniture to do the same.

The hanging ropes are 11 ft so you have about 5.5 ft clearance measured from the arms where the ropes are connected to the ceiling. (ceiling mounting hardware not included)

The original order arrived damaged and even forged my signature for delivery when dropping if off by the front door. However, Clint Shires quickly resolved all issues. A new, undamaged item has arrived, the delivery person waited for my inspection of the box and signature. I had previously purchased two of the triple peanut benches and it was a seamless transaction. I would not hesitate to purchase from you again or to recommend Chic Teak for quality teak furniture. What is weight of the swing?

This swing weights around 55lbs.
I do not have a tree to hang the swing on. Do you have a frame the swing could be attached to??

Is the teak unfinished?

Thanks for your interest in the Lutyens Swing! Yes, the teak is unfinished and finely sanded. No maintenance is necessary except occasional cleanings as needed.
