Very high quality

I love my chairs they are such a high quality and I see myself having them for years. I gave this a 4 star only because the driver from the shipping company would not bring them upstairs for me. I know its curbside deliver but I thought I could tip him and he would do it. Guess I was wrong. Other than that I am beyond excited and happy with my new chairs.

Superb design and construction!

I bought my Miami chairs in late 2007. They've spent five years on a balcony overlooking the Gulf, constantly exposed to rain, salt, sand and UV. They've weathered to a uniform gray, and the wood and joinery is all in perfect shape. I've never treated them with anything other than a little sandpaper on the occasional dark spot. I tighten the brass hardware once a year or so, and while Chic Teak stocks replacement hardware, I haven't needed any. The current hardware is stainless, and should last forever. Everyone at Chic Teak is helpful and knowledgeable, and their products are of extraordinary quality, beauty and durability. Bottom line? No one needs chairs this good, but they're a pleasure to own and use!

  • Do sell just a bottom cushion for the Miami chairs? Don't necessarily want anything for the back.

    A cushion that will fit only the seat of the Miami Reclining Chair would be the seat cushion for the Italy Stacking Chair and can be found here https://chicteak.com/products/cushion-for-italy-chair

  • What is the difference between the Teak Italy Reclining chair and the Miami Reclining chair other than the slats are vertical or horizontal. Are the finishes the same?In the pic one look lighter. Also, the cushion is white what about piping . . . what color? Can the cushion covers be slipped off for running in the washing machine - do they have a zipper or opening?

    The main difference between these 2 chairs is that the Italy Reclining Chair has a contoured/rounded seat and back and the Miami is more straight. Used without a cushion, the Italy would be more comfortable. The cushions are white with black piping and they do have zippers to take the covers off. However, it is our experience that spot cleaning works as well as machine washing.

  • What are the dimensions folded?

    The folded dimensions are about 44 x 24 x 12 inches.

  • How much does each chair weigh (no packaging material)?

    The teak Miami reclining chair weighs about 21 lbs.
