Do I need to do the 2 part cleaner first and then the sealer or can I just use the sealer?
Hi Annie. If you're referring to your new teak you recently purchased in August, the cleaner will not be necessary. It's mainly to clean up teak that's got stains or mildew. Our teak comes with a coat of hand rubbed wax when you purchase it. The only thing you'll want to make sure of is that the wax has had time to wear off before applying the stain. It takes about 3 - 4 weeks exposed to the elements for this to occur and you can usually tell by the look and feel that the wax is no longer present on the wood. Please let us know if you have any questions.
