With this recycled teak louvre cabinet with 3 doors and 3 drawers made from reclaimed teak, being eco-friendly never looked so good. The quality craftsmanship and unmatched style you have come to expect from the Chic Teak brand is at the forefront of the design of our recycled teak. Handcrafted from solid and repurposed 100% Grade A teak wood by the village craftspeople on the Island of Java, this louvered cabinet has multi-colored tones with an unfinished, natural look.

Taking from middle ages architecture, the louvered cabinets give new purpose to our ancestors design technique. Originally developed for shutters to allow air and light in, and slanted forward to repel heavy winds, we have adapted this style to a cabinet unlike any other.

The louvered cabinet doors open, allowing a generous amount of storage space, with three spacious drawers above to keep smaller items tucked away. The louvered cabinet doors also come equipped with brass, half-mortise locks, which are taken from the history books as well. Popular in the 1700s for locking up furniture and homes, this vintage style has been fitted into our louvered chest, giving it an authentic and antiqued feel.

Our Recycled Teak Louvre Cabinet measures 39” (h) x 71” (w) x 20” (d).

Bottom shelves: 11H x 23W x 18D in.
Top Shelves: 11.75H x 23W x 18D in.
Total Cabinet(shelves are removable): 22H x 23.25W x 18D in.
Drawers are full extension on metal glides and measure 5H x 18.5W x 15D inches.

    Gorgeous Buffet!

    We absolutely love every piece we have gotten from Chic Teak. Our latest purchase of this buffet is no exception. It is a solid piece and exceeded our expectations. We love teak and it is very hard to find at local stores. The fact that I can order a piece of furniture from a store in Alabama and it be delivered to Tampa, FL in a matter of a couple of days, for FREE, is amazing!     • Is the back removable ?

      The back panels are not removable.

    • Need 4 drawers and 4 doors do you have them?

      Yes, the same cabinet is available with 4 doors and 4 drawers.

    • One more question please. The pictures appear to show the drawer fronts being the same width as the cabinets below. Are the drawer measurements given the interior dimensions ? Also is there a physical separator between each cabinet space top and bottom. And if so do they figure into each space still having 23 inches of available space ?

      Yes, the drawer dimensions listed are the interior usable space.  There is a physical separator between each cabinet top and bottom.  23 inches is the usable space and does not include the separator.

    • What is the weight limit of the top interior shelves ? Also what is the total weight of this piece ? Is the back of the unit solid wood also ? And if so how thick ?

      The top shelves are solid teak and will hold a good amount of weight.  At least 75 lbs each.  The whole unit weighs approximately 209 lbs.  The backing is also solid wood between 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick.

    • Are the shelves adjustable or just removable ?

      The shelves are not adjustable, only removable.

    • What are the exact interior dimensions of the shelf spaces ? 23 inches of usable width ? Also are there any wire or cable management holes in the back ?

      Yes, the dimensions of the shelves listed are the usable measurements.  We do not pre-drill any cable management holes because not all customers use them for a media center.

    • Can the teak cabinet be used outdoors?

      This cabinet can be used outside in a fully covered and completely dry area.  It is not made with specialized slatting and wood joints to allow it to be used outdoors in the weather and elements.  Please let us know if you have further questions.
